Olomouc Museum of Art closed with the Association of Friends of the Museum on September 21 fundraising campaign whose proceeds are intended for the purchase of 33 serigraphs set of world-renowned artist and founder of op-art, Victor Vasarely. The first public collection in the history of the museum eventually earned more than 58 thousand. On account of public collections, which in June announced the Association of Friends of the Museum of Art, it was 51,400 crowns. Donors could also contribute to jelly at the ticket office of the Museum of Modern Art. It contained about 6,878 Czech crowns. We thank all the donors and we can assure you that thanks to them will Vasarelys works adorn our collections.
