Kroměříž Archdiocesan Museum | The Mint House

This exhibition in the Archbishop’s Chateau in Kroměříž is dedicated to a rather infrequent theme, saints and their depictions on coins and medals from the rich collections of the Archbishopric. The time framework covers the 16th–19th centuries, thus additionally presenting an interesting overview of developments in coinage. A supplementary exhibition consists of a smaller collection of graphic sheets on this same theme.
