Markéta Ondrušková (* 1966 in Ostrava) is dedicated to photography since the 80s of the 20th century. In 1980-1984 she studied photography at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Brno. Then she worked as a decorator at the National Enterprise Exhibitions (1984-1986) and photographer Heritage Institute in Olomouc (1987-2003). Since 2003 he has worked as a photographer in Olomouc Museum of Art.
Her free work is her escape from reality and worries of everyday life. In his photographs he responds to the transience of time and attempts to explain his thoughts on finality and endlessness of life. Photography allows it to portray a nondescript inner feelings, fleeting impressions that often arise in lonely natural and urban locations. Her view of the surrounding reality is gentle, poetic, and as the author herself, and her photographs are quiet and easygoing.
