This retrospective exhibition focuses on this photographer who had dedicated himself to documentary photography from the beginning of the 1970s. This prominent Czech artist, often exhibiting his work both within the Czech Republic and abroad, has his work represented in a number of renowned world art collections. His photography captures everyday human rituals and brings with it an intimate and at the same time generally comprehensible picture of ordinary human life, whether the photographs have been taken in Britain, Japan, Siberia or the former Sudetenland.
