The exhibition is part of a festival Czech-German Cultural Spring.
The official opening will be held on April 6, open to the public from April 7.
Thanks to a generous gift from the art collectors Heinz and Monika Röthingers, we have obtained a collection of paintings by one of the founding personalities of modern European painting and a pioneer of abstraction; Adolf Hölzel (1853 – 1934), a former native of Olomouc. In addition to the fifteen drawings donated to us, we will also present works by Hölzels pupil Albert Müller and by his assistant Ida Kerkovius, as well as other art loans.
