Important information

  • Before you enter the exhibition area, you are obliged to leave any objects bigger than 30 x 40 cm or longer than 40 cm in the cloakroom. This includes objects such as umbrellas, schoolbags, bags and rucksacks, as well as child carriers. We apologize, but it is not possible to enter the exhibitions with a pram.
  • Animals are not allowed on the exhibition premises, except guide dogs for the blind.
  • Eating, drinking and smoking are not allowed on the exhibition premises, except in designated areas such as the museum café.
  • Taking photos of the exhibits is allowed but for personal use only, the use of external flash and tripod is not allowed, unless prescribed otherwise. Filming or making copies is not allowed. Using mobile phones in the exhibition premises is allowed but please show consideration.
  • Accessibility: The Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum is barrier-free, including the sanitary facilities. The Romanesque windows in Zdík’s Palace are only accessible via a spiral staircase. The Museum of Modern Art is barrier-free.
  • The tour of the complete Archdiocesan Museum, including Zdiks Palace, is only possible for technical reasons during the summer tourist season, from April 1nd to September 30th. In another term only after prior agreement. The Romanesque Bishops Palace, unlike the exhibition halls, is not heated.
