We want
The project SEFO is led by professionals from various human sciences together with contemporary artists. The main part of the Forum concentrates on thematic exhibitions using the rich collections of Olomouc Museum of Art and long term loans from partner institutions. These exhibitions are always supported by conferences and workshops concerning the reflexion and documentation of the central European region.
The Forum is also strongly focused on performing arts, mainly thanks to the former fusion with the Theatre of Music, which will after the reconstruction be removed to the renovated building of the Central cinema and will take over its title, too. This will make the cooperation with domestic partners as PAF, Divadelní Flora, One World Film Festival, DOX and others more intensive.
The production of publications is focused on catalogues regarding the particular exhibitions and collections, monographs, specialized and non-specialist texts in periodicals and in the CEAD. In 2021, a new edition of translated literature will start prepared together with Palacký University Olomouc. The first title will be the book of essays by Erhard Busek and Emil Brix Mitteleuropa revisited: Warum Europas Zukunft in Mitteleuropa entschieden wird.
