Opening of the exhibition „Seven days and seven nights“ on Wednesday, Oct. 7 launched the eighth annual of the festival „Days of Jewish Culture in Olomouc“. The opening day also offered a concert of band Simcha and talkshow by David Hrbek with Petr Papoušek – President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in the Czech Republic.

The festival is again consists of a varied program of lectures, discussions, concerts, film and theater performances and reminds the role of the Jewish community in shaping European culture. Days of Jewish Culture will last until 14 October.
