Already on Thursday, March 19 will begin at the Museum of Modern Art exhibition Aenigma | One Hundred Years of anthroposophic art. In our largest exhibition hall will see paintings, sculptures, prints, architecture, design, furniture, books, clothing, jewelry and toys. What unites more than a hundred authors from the years 1911-2011? All inspired by anthroposophy, the spiritual teachings of Austrian philosopher Rudolf Steiner. The exhibition, which is by loans involving institutions and collectors from Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland and Ukraine, will be the worlds first attempt to summarize the long history of anthroposophic art and its inclusion in the history of visual culture. A special attention deserves consuming installation in the Vaulted Hall, which in the history of Olomouc Museum of Art is unparalleled. And both internals living rooms, but also colorful murals with natural mineral pigments. Pictures by Zdenek Sodomy documents the emergence of the exhibition.
