Veterans Day is celebrated annually on November 11, commemorating the end of World War I. Throughout November, you can purchase the well-known charity poppies at the ticket office of the Museum of Modern Art. On Tuesday, November 11, war veterans have free admission to the Olomouc Museum of Art.
When the Entente powers and Germany signed an armistice on November 11, 1918, World War I ended. A year later, this day began to be commemorated as Armistice Day, and since 1954 it has been celebrated as Veterans Day.
As part of the celebrations, war veterans will have free admission to the Olomouc Museum of Art on Tuesday, November 11.
