Miloš Šejn was born in 1947 in Jablonec nad Nisou, graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague in 1975 (Art – Doc. Zdenek Sykora, art history and aesthetics – prof. Petr Wittlich, Doc. Miloš Jůzl). 1976 Doctorate of Philosophy 1991 appointed professor of painting. In the years 1990-2011 he worked as a teacher intermediate studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and as a guest teacher at the academy in Aix-en-Provence, Carrara, The Hague, Ljubljana, Reykjavik, Stuttgart and Vienna. Miloš Šejn working in the fields of visual arts, performance, dealing with issues of visual perception and organizes workshops, as Bohemiae Rosa. His artistic concept was shaped by his youth when he executed a number of paths through the wilderness as a reflection of an inner need to get closer to the secrets of nature and watching the miracle, that takes place. Since the early sixties of the twentieth century during the journey photographed, drew, collected and described his observations of nature. Currently focuses on the immediate creative possibilities, based on historical relationships humanized landscapes and intact nature. Consciously artists worked their magic areas of expressive language between text, visual track, body movement, voice and expansion into space. He is currently working on a mountain of dreams Sun in cooperation with a project Sluňákov House of Nature Litovelske Pomoravi.
