A retrospective exhibition of Michael Rittstein, one of the most significant contemporary Czech artists, co-founder of Volné seskupení 12/15 Pozdě, ale přece, member of Mánes association and the head teacher of Painting Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. His lifelong retreats to the grotesque, sarcasm and irony, when commenting on everyday life, are depicted with the Baroque gesture of a brilliant colourist as well as the ease of a born draughtsman/narrator, for whom monumentality is not a matter of format.
