THE OLOMOUC ARCHDIOCESAN MUSEUM | CAFE AMADEUS

The set of photographs by Lena Jakubčákové (* 1980) from Hag Forest (2014) is dipping into the extraordinary life of the last citizen of the now non-existent village in the east of Slovakia, which since 1966 is under water of the dam Ružín. Hag from the forest is also a nickname for a woman presents herself. This remarkable woman has been living for decades alone in the woods above the flooded village, in the large unfinished house in a mysterious at first sight the dark world, against the background that glows subtly it simple, clean and reconciled soul. The set of photographs should be introduced this year, as well as artists books.
