As the Olomouc Museum of Art focuses on book culture in 2009, it will present at one of its exhibitions the typographic work of the leading figure of Czech interwar avant-garde, Karel Teige (1900–1951). The renowned theoretician of modern architecture was also engaged in modern visual culture, not only with his new approach to book cover design, but also as the creator of original surrealist collages and decals.
