Andrej Kolomacki, by his own name Vsevolod, was a rather enigmatic figure. We know a lot about him: he was born somewhere near Kiev, fought alongside Czech legionaries, sewed, painted, built churches, and finally died in Rumburk. But what was going on outside the main view of historians?

Why was his imaginary shirt too often too small and why did he so fearlessly stand out from the crowd? Why did tablecloths disappear in his monastery and what was it about shovels that fascinated him so much? And how did the fact that he had been nearly blind all his life fit into all this? We try to figure all this out and more in this comic about his exploits, his original sense of humor, his deft hands, his always-groomed beard, and… his shovels.
