Thursdays opening in the cafeteria of the Archdiocesan Museum launched an exhibition of photographs A Village Is the World. There are competitive pictures by sixty authors.

At the opening was also winner Vladimir Pryček with a large retinue of photographers came from Wallachia and the author of the silver medal picture  Iva Višinková from Olomouc. Third winning autor Taťána Hejcmanová on the opening lacked, because she teached art education in Prague at this time. “But I certainly visit Olomouc during the exhibition,” she told.

Exhibition A Village Is the World is accompanied a major exhibition of documentary photographer Jindřich Štreit in Olomouc Museum of Art. He was also chairman of the jury and appreciated not only a great turnout but also the quality of the transmitted images.

Exhibition of competition photos in a cafe Amadeus in the Archdiocese Museum will run until September 26. The exhibition Jindřich Štreit (Un)known  photographs from 1978 to 1989 expire at the Museum of Art on October 30.
