Andrzej Lachowicz, Jolanta Marcolla, Józef Robakowski, Vladimir Havrilla or Robert Cyprich – these are the names of the authors whose works are being represented in the collections of the Museum of Art thanks to the Visegrad Fund Prize. With the prestigious award that the director of the museum devoted to persecuted artists, the museum received a financial reward of twenty thousand euros.
The Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art has thus added a collection of photographs documenting the manifestations of action art in the countries of the Central European region. Selected authors include Jiří Hynek Kocman. Exhibition of his students Ateliér paper and book took place in the Museum of Modern Art last spring and the summer months belonged to the Czech action art (Immediate temples). The continuity is obvious and, of course, also wanted, the more so because of similar acquisitions, the museum continues to map the Central European geographic space. With its specificity and systematic building, this collection is among the similarly created art brut compositions or authors books that the museum established in previous years.
