PhD student Ivana Kubová conducted on Saturday interested linocut technique. People from the workshop at the Art Center of Palacky University were carrying their own bookplates.

“Participants try color printing or multicolor trap,” said the organizer of workshops Marek Šobáň from the Museum of Art.

People usually come into the studio with their idea of they should look bookplates. The final perfected by roughly five hours. Each of them took home a few specimens and matrix.

The closest workshop awaits art lovers on Wednesday 1st June. After the lecture Radomír Slovik about restoring old books heading to the studio, where they will “pour” papier-mache to missing pages.
