A unique sacral building in the history of European Baroque architecture was built according to the project of Giovanni Pietro Tencalla (1629-1702) in 1673-1699. The lecture will focus on the architectural type of the domed basilica in the history of European architecture, the place of the Olomouc building in this typological series and the form of the adjacent monastery building.
