Monday 8 April marks the 400th anniversary of the birth of Olomouc’s Bishop Charles of Liechtenstein-Castelcorn, and it is on this occasion that a concert by the ensemble Societas Incognitorum under the direction of Eduard Tomaštík will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Archbishop’s Castle, featuring the renewed premiere of the Mass Harmonia Genethliaca by Jakob Philipp Rittler. Rittler dedicated it to Bishop Karl on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

Before the concert, it is also possible to take part in a tour in the footsteps of Bishop Karl, led by Miroslav Kindl, head of the Archdiocesan Museum Kroměříž.
