Five adults and two children on Saturday attracted a family workshop to the exhibition by Giovanni Battista Piranesi. They followed in the footsteps of the brilliant graphics of the Italian Baroque.

“The whole workshop took place in the graphic workshop of the Department of Art Education at the Art Centre of Palacky University. We wanted to show those interested in a professional workshop,” explained lecturer Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum Marek Šobáň.

Interpretation with the presentation of graphical techniques took charge doctoral student Ivana Kubová. Actors themselves can then tried drypoint and monotype. “They were artistically minded people who are related to the formation and wanted a more thorough knowledge engineering,” said Šobáň.

Besides their own copies have learned the knowledge of etching and aquatinta.

Next family workshop will be held on Saturday, 28 November, participants in it creates their own set of cards for the game Black Peter. More info HERE.
