NEWS | 18th of May Even the rainy weather at The Museum Night in Olomouc did not deter nearly thirteen hundred people from visiting both buildings of the Museum of Art. They could participate in various competitions, tried a phone hot line with museum staff, admired a light installation inspired by Polish abstraction and concluded with a concert at the Theater of Music.

Over seven hundred people went to the Museum of Modern Art , and nearly six hundred visited the Archdiocesan Museum. Even the rainy weather did not get them at the Olomouc Museum Night.

In the Archdiocesan Museum, visitors could use a hot line to call museum specialists who answered their questions. At the current exhibition of Old Masters Drawings, they could discovered “invisible” images with ultraviolet light. They could also use a mobile app that has been done both playfully and competitively in both buildings.

The Museum of Modern Art prepared a large lighting installation inspired by the Abstraction.PL exhibition. An evening full of unusual experiences ended with a concert at the Theater of Music, where musicians had to take refuge from the Café 87 terrace due to the rain.
