Not only visually, but also by hearing it now can approach the unique world of the artist and the most prominent Czech illustrator Jiří Šalamoun. On the occasion of its cross-sectional exhibition in Olomouc Museum of Modern Art, publishing Canopic issued recording Šalamoun´s poems, memories and thoughts.

“CD we released as a tribute to the author and as a gift to his eightieth birthday,” said Victoria Hradská that the preparation of the CD collaborated professionally. Recorded in Šalamouns studio and recorded his thoughts, stories, memories and poems, which read by the author himself and actors John Trojanová and Václav Knop. “Our intention was to give his admirers possibility of another, intimate encounter with the creator. Voice, diction and original way of reading the unique opportunity to better understand the world of Solomon, “added Hradská. The original CD entitled “… and this” is on sale at the museum ticket office at 185 crowns.

The year 2015 can be described as “Year of Šalamoun”. In addition to the exhibition in Olomouc Museum of Modern Art, which runs until May 17, poses with his creation to June 7 also Central Bohemian Gallery in Kutná Hora. Baobab is also preparing to release the first Czech memoir about the author.
