Whether we want to or resist it, we cannot escape the rapid rise of artificial intelligence. It is rapidly becoming ubiquitous. For artists, AI is a big challenge to deal with. On Monday, 3 March, you can see for yourself at CENTRAL in Olomouc.

The German art association FARN Kollektiv brings a unique production Imagine – Hellos and Goodbyes combining concert, installation and performance to CENTRAL. Daniel Nerlich has provided the chatbot with his biography, which serves as the basis for the production. From this source material, however, Nerlich’s life does not unfold before the audience, but an artificial intelligence rewrites his life story.

The beginning is fixed, but everything else is improvisation between machine and human. No one knows where Daniel Nerlich’s life will go.
