What do you use to photograph? Digital camera or handy? And what about a classic photo? Would you know how to work with a classic film? Do you know what it developer and fixer? And Would you managed to wait until the processing of the film to determine how the photos succeeded? This all children can try in the Olomouc Museum of Art from August, 15 to August, 19 thanks to the suburban camp called Holiday photo studio.
Holiday workshop the museum organized on the occasion of ongoing exhibition of one of the most important Czech photographer Jindřich Štreit. „Works by Štreit are synonymous for classic black and white photography. Thats why we want to introduce children to the complex, but also the magical process of creating the classic picture," said lecturer Hana Lamatová.
Children will try different genres, especially documentary photography and scenic photography in the Theatre of Music. But camp will not only about classic photography. Children should bring their own digital camera to be able to compare. Children also will learn how to present the results of their work. The camp will culminate with an exhibition for parents and friends.
