On Friday, June 5 on the occasion of the Night of galleries in Archbishop’s Château in Kroměříž we opened three exhibitions. The first representative exhibition of works by Joseph Stern - one of the most important painters of the 18th century in Moravia - accompanied two chamber exhibitions. On the stairs in front of the Picture gallery we have installed a monumental postmodern Pietà by contemporary artist Michal Ožibka and in the picture gallery you can view the details of the planned restoration of selected paintings and furniture from the Archbishops collections, which is funded through the Norwegian funds. What was atmosphere of the opening you will see from pictures by Zdeněk Sodoma. But we prefer when they you´ll come into Kroměříž!
