In the Archdiocesan Museum Olomouc we started in Thursday, April 23, two exhibitions: Křiváks Pietà | Restoration and New and Everlasting Covenant | The cult of the Eucharist in visual art. The first project belongs to our dramaturgical series, for which we won the award Europa Nostra in 2009, and reveals the results of a survey of one of the most important monuments of High Gothic sculpture in our country - Křiváks Pietà. The second exhibition focuses on the artistic portrayal of the basic components of the Christian liturgy through art works since the Middle Ages to the present. What prevailed during the opening atmosphere, mediate photos by Markéta Ondrušková. And don´t forget: on Sundays we have free entry!
