A new audio guide in eleven languages will guide you through the exhibition of Italian Baroque painting, Idea of Beauty, at the Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc. Thanks to artificial intelligence, you can not only listen to prepared commentary, but also communicate with the AI.

Baroque painting in Rome, straddling two opposing schools of thought – naturalism and classicism – can be explored not only through outstanding works of art, but also via an audio guide in the Cabinet of Wonders app, which is available for free download for smartphones from Google Play and the App Store.

Ten stops present selected artists and their paintings or drawings from the 17th and 18th centuries. Among them are Cecco del Caravaggio, Carlo Saraceni, Annibale Carracci, Carlo Maratti, and other leading artists. Thematically, the selection of exhibits focuses on religious, mythological, and historical themes.

Please note that the Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (the museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
