Drawings of fantastic creatures inhabit the childrens cabinet of curiosities in Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum. This is a unique accompaniment to the exhibition Speculum Mundi | Collectibles Premonstratensian monastery at Strahov, which also includes excerpts from the Strahov collection of natural, prehistoric and historic objects that reflect the Rudolphs interested in mystery on the one hand and the beginnings of a systematic approach to the natural sciences on the other.
Childrens drawings are exhibited in the lounge on the first floor of the museum, which serves as an active zone for young and old visitors. Thanks to all the small and big authors offer a small gallery of some well done drawings. Your work can be placed in the lounge until the end of the exhibition Speculum Mundi, ie by 26 April 2015.
Childrens Cabinet of Curiosities builds on a similar activity that accompanied the exhibition of the famous sculptor Ivan Theimer. Children should create a turtle – one of the favorite themes Theimerových. The best appreciated author directly donated their own artwork.
