Bistro Central will offer the best of Italian cuisine

The new bistro will be run by Petr Heneš from Long Story Short. He was also behind the previous temporary café And the Story Begins. “That was more of a temporary underground project. Bistro Central brings a completely different concept. It won’t just be a café – we are expanding the offering to a full-fledged bistro with a significantly wider selection of dishes, especially Italian cuisine. The main focus will be on honest homemade pasta, fresh sandwiches, distinctive Italian coffee, and wines from all over Europe. There will also be desserts and fresh baked goods,” said Heneš, describing the changes from the previous establishment.
According to him, the bistro will focus on high-quality, fast, and affordable takeaway food. “We want to be the ideal choice for students and workers who need something quick and tasty to eat during the day. The uniqueness of Bistro Central lies in its well-thought-out concept – from the kitchen to the interior – while remaining open and accessible to everyone,” added Heneš.
If everything goes according to plan, Bistro Central will open for trial operation in exactly one month – on Monday, September 22. A grand opening party will then take place on October 10, when Zdeněk Pohlreich will appear in the kitchen as a special guest.
