Zasnoubení sv. Kateřiny, 1675,

We dont know if St. Catherines Day will be in the mud and Christmas will be in the snow, but we do know that this Saturday we will be celebrating St. Catherines Day at the Archdiocesan Museum with a creative afternoon and we would love for you to join us!

On the feast day of St. Catherine, who is also the patron saint of printers, we invited Roman Prokes, a master of letterpress printing, in front of Martin Antonin Lublinskys painting The Mystical Betrothal of St. Catherine of Alexandria. He will be printing the title page of the Religious Song of St. Catherine the Martyr from the late 19th century together with visitors throughout the afternoon. Visitors will take away their prints as a souvenir of the “pilgrimage”.
