A look at the exhibition Lives. Artists from the pen of Karel van Mander.
This year, the public holiday commemorating the founding of the independent Czechoslovak state falls on a Tuesday. The Olomouc Museum of Art will be open to visitors free of charge on this day. In addition to the permanent exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art and the Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc, visitors can also view two new exhibitions.
In the Museum of Modern Art, in addition to the permanent exhibition Century of Relativity I, visitors can see the newly opened exhibition Lives. Artists from the Pen of Karel van Mander. It presents works by old Dutch and Upper German masters.
In addition to the permanent exhibitions To Glory and Praise and Here You Are, the Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum also offers a short-term exhibition entitled Architecture in prints of the 16th–18th Centuries. It presents a curatorial selection of the most valuable and interesting works from the collections of the Archbishopric of Olomouc.
All these exhibitions are open to the public free of charge on Tuesday, October 28.
