Dr. Giovanni Scioli – Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague – visited on Friday 27 March Olomouc Museum of Art. Accompanied by museum director Michael Soukup Mr. Scioli looked exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art and the Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum. His admiration especially enjoyed the exhibition of Op-art pioneer Victor Vasarely and sculptor Ivan Theimer. Museum management with the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute also discussed cooperation in the exhibition Giovanni Battista Piranesi | Ingenious graphic artist of Italian baroque. Representative showcase the works of one of the greatest figures of Italian and international art of the 18th century are preparing for October this year.
