Saturdays opening at the Museum of Opole Silesia opened an exhibition At first sight / Selection of Czech Photography of the 20th and 21th century. 

Representative showcase works of famous Czech photographer captures photographic development from the avant-garde of the 20s of last century to contemporary photography. As at the opening of Opole reminded curator of the Museum of Art Štěpánka Bieleszová, represented a group of photographers and Olomouc DOFO.

“The photographs come from the collection of the Museum of Art in Olomouc, owns the third largest public photographic collection in the Czech Republic, from the archives of the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava, from private collections and from the assets of living artists,” says Bieleszová.

The authors of the exhibition are photographs historian Vladimír Birgus of the Institute of Creative Photography at the Silesian University in Opava, curator of the Museum of Art Štěpánka Bieleszová and Silesian Museum Opole Joanna Filipczyk. The exhibition is accompanied by a trilingual publication, which at the inauguration signed Dita Pepe and Jindřich Štreit. His works in these days are moving from Olomouc exposure to the Polish city of Katowice.
